Our Story

Built for the Way People Actually Travel to Gaya

Hotel Astha Inn was built on a simple observation: Gaya welcomes families, business travelers and pilgrims heading toward Bodh Gaya, Nalanda and Rajgir every single day, and most of them need the same thing — a clean, spacious room, a decent meal, and a team that treats them well.

That idea shaped everything about this property, from rooms designed to comfortably hold an entire family, to an in-house restaurant, to event spaces that can host anything from a corporate meeting to a wedding reception. We didn't set out to be the biggest hotel in Gaya — we set out to be the one guests are glad they chose.

When we opened Hotel Astha Inn, our goal was to build the kind of hotel we'd want to stay in ourselves — spacious rooms, honest service, and spaces that could genuinely host a family celebration or a business meeting without compromise. Every room, every hall and every meal that leaves The Gardenia kitchen is held to that standard. From a single idea to a full-service property — here's the shape our journey has taken.

The Foundation

Hotel Astha Inn was conceived as a family-friendly property near Bharti National School, Kendui, Gaya — built around spacious rooms rather than compact ones.

19 Rooms, One Standard

All 19 rooms were finished to the same premium category — king bed, extra bed, sofa and dining space — so every guest gets the same comfortable experience.

The Gardenia Restaurant Opens

An in-house restaurant was added to serve fresh Indian and Chinese food to residents and walk-in diners alike.

Banquet, Conference & Lawn

A banquet hall, conference hall and open-air party lawn rounded out the property, turning it into a complete venue for events of any size.

Today

Hotel Astha Inn continues to serve families, business travelers, tourists and event hosts across Gaya, with the same attention to comfort we started with.
